Getting Started
1) Power on TV (Silver Sony Remote)
2) Power on the Receiver (Black Technics Remote)
3) Ensure the Receivers Input is set to “TV”
SOUND/VOLUME
- Volume is controlled by the Receiver (Black Technics Remote)
- Please leave receiver in “Surround” mode. You’ll get the best sound for movies.
- There is a “Subwoofer Level” button on both the remote and receiver. In general the best effects are when this is set to “Max”. Please do not attempt to adjust the subwoofer itself.
SPECIAL NOTES
- Turn off the TV when not in use, it will save the bulb life.
- Fullest picture will be displayed in Full or Zoom mode. It will also extend the life of the TV.
- Picture quality is best in Standard Mode and provides for longest bulb life, Vivid mode is not necessary in a room which is not exposed to sunlight.
Watching DVD Movies
a) On Sony Remote press TV/Video button until the TV displays “DVD”
b) Insert DVD in DVD player
c) Press Start on the DVD Remote
Watching TV
a) On Sony Remote press TV/Video button until the TV displays a number (this is the Cable TV Channel)
b) On Sony Remote use the channel button “CH” to change channels.
