DIGITAL MUSIC SERVER

 A special feature of our house is a Digital Music Server.  A large selection of music and old-time radio shows is available in the Great-Room, Top Deck, Game-Room and Pool. 

To Logon…Userid is “zen” password is Blank.

 To start the server either…

-         Select the “Itunes” shortcut from the desktop

-         Select “Itunes” from the START menu

 Display the contents of the Music Library

-         Select “Library” in the Itunes “Source” subwindow.

 Sorting the music

-         You can sort the information displayed in the columns headings.  Click on artist column to sort by artist, Click on the year to sort by year, etc…

 Find Music

-         Quickfind…Enter an artist or title in the Quickfind field. “Q” box in upper right hand corner of Itunes.

-         Browse…Click the Browse Icon (an eye) in the upper right hand corner of Itunes… and Boxes with Genre, Artist and Albums will appear. 

Selecting multiple files

-         Multiple items can be selected by holding down the CTRL or SHIFT key while making selections.

-         Clicking on items while holding down the CTRL key will add items to the selection one at a time.

-         Clicking on items while holding down the Shift key will select a range of items. 

Play Audio CD’s

Insert your CD into the CD Drive in the PC in the cabinet below.

Change the “source” on Itunes to the CD you just inserted.

Select the music you wish to play.
